Very minor spots of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.


The central dot often seen on the reverse is interesting. It has sometimes been described as part of the legend, separating TI from VS, but it actually is a centering mark for the compass used to incise circles for the pearl ring and for positioning the legend as described and illustrated by Ramskold (see Ramskold, Constantine's SPES PVBLIC coins (2020a), p. 258-260, figs. 27-29).
